DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy has once again swept the Modern Drummer magazine polls by taking the "Best Progressive Rock Drummer" award for the eighth year in a row, in addition to coming in at top in the "Best Clinician", "Best Educational Video/DVD", and "Recorded Performance Of The Year" categories.
